Jekyll Island, GA

Jekyll Island is the perfect spot to vacation if you want to get some rest and relaxation.  Like many touristy beach cities, Jekyll offers sandy white beaches, bike and walking trails through the woods, and great restaurants.  What sets Jekyll apart from all others (at least the one's I have visited) is it's cleanliness, history, no overcrowded beaches, small town feel, very safe atmosphere and NO HOMELESS people.  Honestly, I don't know why this place doesn't get crowded more, but hey lets keep it a secret.  We got married on Jekyll Island at the Cherokee Cottage which is apart of the Jekyll Island Club. The wedding was beautiful.

I would suggest flying into Jacksonville or Orlando Florida, then drive up to Jekyll.

Jekyll is an amazing place and in my top 5 vacation spots. Below is a list of the restaurants, attractions, and hotels we ate, played, and stayed.
