We had been in Denver several times so once we landed we hit the road. Cheyenne had a nice small town feel, Fort Laramie National Park was amazing, Mount Rushmore was pretty cool, Crazy Horse was a waste of money, and Torrington smelled like cows, due to the big trailer full of cows parked down the way from our hotel. No big deal reminded me of home.

Fort Laramie is my 2nd favorite National Park. Visitors get to walk around the Fort and inside the buildings. The buildings are staged to show what it would look like if occupied. The Calvary Barracks (Left) was my favorite along with the Officer's House (Right).
